Candice and Abe were fighting zombies

on a jet black hill at the end of days!

The zombie apocalypse, on their wedding day!

1. On her wedding day, Candice looked out the door

She saw her neighbors and cried in horror

They’d become zombies, she knew at a glance

Tonight she might not get her wedding dance.

On his wedding day, Abe woke up,

beer still dancing deep in his gut

he looked outside, at the lightning in the sky,

and knew the apocalypse was ever nigh! (refrain)

2. Abe had guns he saved them for

a rainy day, or a zombie hoard,

Candice found her keys, and made for her car

A bit concerned she might not get far.

Abe stepped on his blood strewn lawn,

poppin caps in the heads of Zombies all around,

A sandy gold car through the neighborhood steered,

It was Candice, in her Chevy Cavalier!

Candice broke through the wall of undead

running over Zombies burning tread,

she plowed through them all and she reached Abe’s side,

threw open the door and said let’s ride! (refrain)

3. They drove and they drove to a jet black hill,

Ran up the side like Jack and Jill

Back to back with their guns they stood

Bride and groom top a wedding cake of blood!

Abe told jokes while they fought of the hoard,

Shazam he said when he capped two more!

Candice drew forth blades and knives,

She made a lifelong wish, while they fought for their lives...

The sun then seared through the darkened clouds!

A roar was heard above the crowd-

A white tiger stood at the base of the hill

“Friend of yours?” Abe asked his girl... (refrain)

4. Her one true wish had just come true,

for that day the animals broke out of the zoo

The white tiger slashed at the zombie brood

and in the end the three of them stood!

They lived that day, perhaps that night

Candice, Abe and a Tiger white

Each took a drag on a cigarette,

and that’s how Candice and Abe were Wed!
